Form Instructions!

Only submit events in accordance with the UAMS Special Events Policy. Note and follow instructions in all form pop-ups and informational boxes. Events should be submitted a minimum of two (2) weeks prior to the event. Please allow up to two (2) business days for approval.

Does this gathering qualify as a special event?

A Special Event is defined as any planned UAMS-related gathering to which external guests are invited, including:

  • Certain internal events
  • UAMS Regional Program events
  • UAMS Outreach Initiatives defined more specifically in the UAMS Special Events Policy.

What does not qualify as a special event?

  • Academic Requirements (i.e. journal club or rounds)
  • Departmental Meetings
  • Student Organization Socials*

*Note: Each college may choose to monitor/approve student events through the Dean's office.
